Travel Miniatures For Holiday

Packing for a holiday is difficult. It’s super easy to overpack, and when you’re stingy like I am and refuse to pay for an extra case, it can become a real headache. I’m off to Spain in a couple of weeks and France at the end of August, and I’ve been deciding what I want to take in advance and which bits I’ll just buy once I’m there.

If you’re anything like me, you probably hoard your samples and a trip away is obviously the perfect time to use these up. However, if I go away for longer than a weekend I like to buy travel sizes of my favourite products. Since using up a variety of micellar waters recently, I’ve gone back to Bioderma* after a couple of years of not using it. I bought myself the travel sized version of the micellar water for my trip to America, and have recently found it back in my collection again. Whilst I don’t like spending a lot of money, Bioderma is fab for going away as it is only 100ml (unlike the Garnier Micellar Water which comes in a 125ml travel sized bottle – no good for flights). I think my mum and I are going to be fighting over who uses it when we’re away!

Whilst I have a travel sized Pixi Glow Tonic on the go (which I use when I’m at Jack’s), since I’m going somewhere with stronger UV rays than the UK I’m leaving my acids at home. Instead, I’ve treated myself to the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Toner to try out. I’ve not used anything other than Glow Tonic or the Lush Tea Tree Toner for a really long time so I’m interested to see how this plays out.Skincare Travel Miniatures | Essential Twenty

Whilst I didn’t rate the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm, as I have a travel sized pot still in my collection I’ll be taking that away with me. Hopefully I can get this finished up and out of my collection so that I can try out new balms! This size can actually be bought in M&S for £10 if you are a fan and want a travel sized pot to take on trips away with you.

I have a ridiculous amount of miniature body products. I am in love with The Body Shop at the moment and they sell some of my summer body must haves, so I can’t not take something away with me. Whilst I love the Pinita Colada Scent, a tub of body butter isn’t what I want to be taking away. I’ll be getting dry from lazy days in the sand, so this time I’ll be taking The Body Shop Shea Body Whip. Perfect for dry skin and it smells divine!

A site I was very impressed with when it comes to looking for additional travel items was Chemist. Selling 5 different festival packs which are also perfect for travelling, there is something for everyone. I picked up a couple of packs which included the likes of Deodorant Wipes*, Eye Makeup Remover Wipes* and Dextrose Energy Tablets, Smints, Hair Ties and Batiste Dry Shampoo* (not my fave, but not bad as a make do)! I wash my hair a lot on holiday – I sweat, I swim and hair just get gross. Dry shampoo is a must for me when I’m abroad, even if it’s to soak up excess moisture whilst I sleep. And deodorant wipes are another essential when I go abroad so that I can freshen up discretely after a day at the water parks. I picked up Pack 1*and Pack 2* and have already used them a ton, so I’ll probably have to buy more before my trip!
