The Ultimate Christmas Movie Night

It’s just four days before Christmas, and you should be pretty much ready for the big day. All your presents wrapped, food in the fridge and the last minute cleaning pretty much complete. Or is that just me? Okay, I lied about the cleaning.

Either way, you’re going to have a couple of hours free between now and the 25th right? So treat yourself to an evening of the best Christmas films Hollywood has to offer by putting on your Christmas pyjamas and having the Ultimate Christmas Movie Night to really kick of the festivities.

After a seasonal pamper night (if you’ve got time; my favourite products for this will be popping up in the next couple of days), and getting inspired by my Christmas DVD Haul, I hope you’re settled ready for the best movie night going. Personally, I’d rather do this alone as I am the worst for talking through films and therefore I can’t distract anybody if I’m alone. Next, pull out your comfiest clothes, the fluffier the better, and settle under masses of duvets and blankets (if you’re willing to brave the last minute Christmas shopping rush, Primark sell the softest blankets on a budget). I love cosy socks, espedcially if they’ve got a Christmas theme.

Snacks and beverages are key. My favourites are usually a hot drink, and something savoury (tea and popcorn) but why not go for something festive? Try out my Baileys Hot Chocolate Recipe and grab a candy cane or five off the tree!  Or do you fancy something a little cooler under your pile of blankets? Opt for the Cranberry Tea Cosmopolitan I shared a couple of days ago and a big bowl of ice cream.

The ultimate movie night isn’t a difficult task, it’s just a fun way to lead up to Christmas. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to open a tube of pringles and watch The Snowman.
