On Tuesday I got some very exciting post – my Spring Box of Lame from That Lame Company arrived! After receiving a few goodies from them to review last month, I knew I had to support them by making an order.
If you want to see what this box of fun (literally the only way I can describe it) contained then keep reading.
If you don’t know what the Box of Lame is all about, it’s a seasonal one-off subscription box full of stationery goodies. Most products are designed by Chloe exclusively for That Lame Company, and you can buy a number of these separately from the box (if there are any bits you really love it’s worth checking them out individually, especially since there is free postage to UK addresses).
This box contained a huge number of items and I can’t wait to get using them. Inside was:
- A notebook of my choice – I opted for the wire bound saying ‘Notes’, but the other option was a perfect ‘Queen of To-Do Lists’ notebook
- An A5 Meal Planner – I love that you can pop your meals at the top and organise you shopping list below
- An A5 ‘Essential Notes’ Notepad – how apt for my blog
- An A6 Notepad entitled ‘I Should’ve Done This Yesterday’ – I’ve been thinking about buying this anyway so I love that it’s been included in the post
- 2 packs of ‘Just a Lil’ Reminder’ Post-its – One for me and one from my Boyfriend is how it’ll probably go
- 2 Greeting Cards – Thank you & Congratuwelldone
- A Twig Pencil
- A Gold Print saying ‘Think Positive’ – Exclusive to this box
- 5 A6 Prints
And there were also some special bits from some third party partners. For a more descriptive post on what’s included you can check out Chloe’s post on the Spring Box of Lame.
I also love the extra little Spring/Easter addition of the chick and chocolate bunnies. It’s safe to say I ate those bunnies straight after taking the photos!
My favourites from the box have to be the Meal Planner & Shopping list, I’m exactly super excited to go shopping today just to use this! And one thing that really swayed me towards buying this box in the first place were the post it notes as they’re so damn cute.
These cards are so beautiful and I want to keep them for myself, but I know people would love to receive them so it looks like they’re being added to my card stash (I’m a real adult now).
There’s a good chance that these prints will appear in posts in the future, just like the Insulting Incentives I received last month. That is until I finally get a real desk and can decorate the wall with it. I love how motivational all the prints are, and I really loved seeing how Chloe creates all these products over on her snapchat.
The third party products included in my box were gift tags from Wrapped By Alice (always super useful as I never have enough gift tags for presents), ribbon from Plum Bowtique and a badge saying “What’s with these homies dissing my girl?” from Life’s Big Canvas. They’re very generous to include their products in the box and I’ll definitely be checking them out soon and making a purchase or two.
For everything included in this box and all the hard work that I know goes into it all for a mere £21, it’s a real bargain! And it looks like I won’t need to buy any new stationery for a while (not that it’ll stop me). Makde sure you check out That Lame Company and support them for putting such a wonderful box together. I can’t wait to order more from them as they not only have great products but wonderful customer service.
