Around the holidays, I’m a sucker for changing my phone wallpaper to something relevant to the season.
I took to pinterest in search of the ultimate Christmas wallpaper to grace my phone until the new year, and I thought I’d shortlist them for you because you should get involved with the festivities in every part of your life.
You know when you go to write a post and the photos were taken so long ago that you forget how pants they are? This is one of those posts, so apologies (but when I was writing this post last night I couldn’t just hop on a train and retake because I have deadlines y’know).
Way, way back in November, I went to my first, and so far only, Christmas Market of the year. And it was fab. My boyfriend and I decided to go on his birthday for a gander, and it was far better than I remember it being (last time I went was almost 2 years ago). I think it helped that I went when it was dark, as opposed to it being the middle of the afternoon.
Today, I want to talk about the one thing that cracks me up every Christmas without fail, and that’s Elf Yourself.
I love Christmas jumpers and own a stupid amount, but it doesn’t stop me wanting more! I’ve scoured the internet for my favourites this year and, with the exception of a couple, they’re all beneath the £20 mark and can suit any budget.
This is a wish list so to speak, but I might end up treating myself to a few in the next couple of weeks.
On Saturday, I got the opportunity to go to a blogger meet up organised by the very lovely Rhianna in Leeds. 70 of us spent 3 hours at Black Swan where we had an incredible festive themed day. Stupidly, I didn’t take any photos (I’m the worst blogger) but I can still tell you about it.
(Everyone from here on out will be linked to their twitter accounts because that’s easier than finding blogs)
As a child, Christmas is about presents. I love receiving gifts (more than I should probably admit) but this Blogmas, I didn’t want to just post things that I want.
Sure, I want the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Palette and every Charlotte Tilbury lipstick going, but it’s the same as everybody else. This wishlist is more about the festive goodies that I would like in my life just as ornaments and other homey bits. Also yes I’m aware that this is very red and white themed but it’s not my fault that these are the cutest things.
