My Mascara Drawer, Repurchased

Last month I wrote a post on the makeup products that I bought over the years that I’ve repurchased and are still in my collection today. And now I’m doing it all about the mascaras that I’ve loved so much that I’ve had to repurchase them.

I realise that I have already talked about a couple of these but I couldn’t miss it out since they were important repurchases of mine.

The Benefit They’re Real Mascara was the first high end mascara that I ever bought and after around a year, I had to say goodbye to it. Not sanitary and it also dried out. I bought this a month or two ago in the Real Steal set which came with a free miniature and I’m yet to open either but that’s because this is my summer mascara, it’s waterproof and makes for beautifully long lashes without needing to pile on the makeup. It’ll definitely be coming out of hiding once the colder months have passed.

When I went away to uni over three years ago (*sob* because I’m now working full time instead of studying) my mum treated me to a few bits of ‘nice’ makeup. To me, No 7 was very expensive (read: I swore by Natural Collection Mascara) and I was so excited to have a fancy mascara. This mascara was the No 7 Intense Volume and it’s one of my all time favourites. I love brushes with more of a fibrous wand than a plastic wand and this gives the right amount of volume for an every day look. This is another mascara that isn’t open yet (can you tell that most of my mascaras aren’t actually open? But if you’re interested in knowing which mascaras I have that are open, check out this post) because I don’t want loads open at once, but this is definitely one I’m excited to get back in my life.

Maybelline Lash Sensational is the one that I spoke about in my Makeup Repurchased and Mascaras In Rotation post so there isn’t much more to say about it, but it is actually open and I do use it fairly regularly.

A mascara that I never hear anything about is Seventeen Doll’d Up, but this has to be my fourth tube of it. This was a stocking filler for me a few years back and every time I’ve ran out I’ve repurchased it straight away. This has a plastic wand which can be quite sharp if you don’t know how to use it properly, but it gives beautiful results. This is a great dupe for the final mascara that I want to talk about, but it’s only £6.49 so it’s a real bargain!

And the final mascara that I’ve repurchased and still have in my collection is Benefit They’re Real which is still one of my most reached for mascaras, and I talked about this in my mascaras in rotation post. Now that it’s dried out a little bit it’s definitely a more enjoyable consistency to work with.

What mascaras have you repurchased, whether it be once, twice or more than that? I love knowing which products people have loved enough to buy again!
