Feel Unique Advent Calendar 2016: Worth The Purchase?

Over the last couple of days, I’ve been discussing whether or not the M&S Advent Calendar and the Sanctuary Spa Advent Calendar were worth the money or not. The final advent calendar I had this year (other than my Cadbury one) was The Magic Of Beauty Advent Calendar from Feel Unique.

This was priced at £30 and was a 12 days of Christmas style advent calendar. I opened this every other day so that I could make it last for the entirety of advent, but was it worth the £30 when the M&S one was only £35 and contained more than twice the number of products?

This advent calendar included 12 different brands, with a variety of skincare, haircare, body care and makeup products. These brands included Balance MeNuxe, PalmersLaura Geller, Ole HeriksenBourjois, Percy & Reed, and Rimmel, so basically a couple of my favourites.

I’ve been dying to try Laura Geller Gilded Honey for quite a while, although on the website it said that the product was full size when it clearly isn’t. I’ve also been after the Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm for literal years, but couldn’t bring myself spending almost £10 on a lip balm. But this has come in full size and I can’t wait to use it (my love of matte lipsticks is not nice to my lips)!

Overall, this advent calendar was definitely worth the money, especially when I slip in the fact that I had £3.95 and a further 10% off so got it for £23.05! The same Percy & Reed product is in both this advent calendar and the M&S advent calendar which can’t be helped, but it means I’ll keep one and pass one on to my mum. I would definitely consider buying this calendar again, just for the bits of makeup inside.
