Last Saturday was the Bloggers Blog Awards, and this was my second year in attendance. Celebrating bloggers, no matter how big or small they are, Hayley did another fantastic job at putting these awards together and despite spending two hours on the bathroom floor on Sunday, it was so worth it!
Whilst I am close enough to London to attend events on a regular basis (or at least I would if they were at the weekend), there’s something about Yorkshire events that I love. Most of my best blogging baes live in the north, it’s the place I fell in love with blogging and the drinks are a hell of a lot cheaper!
After helping judge the nominations for both the Food Blogging and Interiors Blogging categories, I knew shortlists were going to be brilliant even before the full list was released. And I was correct. Some of my favourites were nominated, and even won, and I’m so proud of them…in a not creepy way.
I always come away from events like this feeling super motivated to blog, and whilst I’ve not had much chance in the week that has passed since, I’ve got a lot of blog ideas as well as an aim to improve my blog life. In fact, right after putting this post together I’m finally tackling my media kit (that I’ve said I’ll make for months). I’m hoping to have bit of a rebrand in the upcoming weeks so keep your eyes peeled!
Anyway, I digress. This post is a thank you to my blogging pals to making the day fabulous, the incredible brands that made the day so great – especially Jewellery Box for putting on a wonderful jewellery making sessions, and all the bartenders that served me through the day (lol). Oh, and thank you to Blueberry Hill Studios for having such a lovely venue and bargain booze. I hope Hayley runs the Bloggers Blog Awards again next year as they’re a wonderful day, and a great way to celebrate fellow bloggers!
