I go through stages with makeup about which products I’m obsessed with. Palettes, highlighters and mascaras are frequent regular purchases of mine, but recently I’ve been all about lipsticks. This Christmas, brands have been killing it with their lip set releases, and I’ve been lapping them up.
Today I’m reviewing the Stila Naturally Nude Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Set which I picked up when Feel Unique had a stellar 20% off around a month ago (also available in Boots, so collect those points). I’d have been daft not to pick them up!
I don’t think I need to waste both of our time telling you that matte is my favourite finish when it comes to lip products, and nude is where my heart lies in terms of shading. Basically this kit was calling for me! Containing a mix of iconic and limited edition shades, if you’re into a rosey nude then why haven’t you got these already?
This set includes the cult favourite Patina (a dusty rose), and the limited edition shades Serenata (a cognac rose) and Perla (a pale, dusty pink), and are a great option if your giftee is into paler pinky nudes. The Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks are some that I’ve been dying to try for ages after I’ve heard them being raved about all over YouTube, but the colouring of everyone’s favourite Patina is a little too pink for me. Serenata is definitely my most worn, and it truly stays all day with no touch up required whilst I’m at work.
Stila have also released a similar set called Bright & Bold, containing the shades Beso, Lume and Viola (I’m obsessed with the look of Beso so I may have to buy this in the full size in the new year) which I’m personally not as interested in as I just wouldn’t get use of the shades. But if you’re into the bolder colours then this set is going to be right up your street.
At £16, this is perfect if you’ve been wanting to try the Stila liquid lip offering. I can’t wait to get more use out of this, maybe towards the warmer months. All I can say is that I’m hoping for some more Stila in my stocking this year to add to my steadily growing collection!
