Today is the start of Face Mask Friday. I have an awful lot of face masks that I use on a regular basis that I’ve never talked about on my blog, and I’m definitely going to start! I tend to buy face masks after seeing them mentioned on my favourite blogs, so why shouldn’t I start talking about them? Every Friday for the foreseeable future I’m going to be talking about face masks in one way or another, and I’m starting today with an Updated Face Mask Collection.
I wrote a face mask collection last summer, and after having a little bit of a declutter I wanted to update. This is the first instalment, which features my multi-use masks. I actually have an order on for a couple more masks (whoops) that will feature very shortly in a review so keep your eyes peeled.
Most of my face masks come from the high street, the majority of which are from Boots. I own a couple of Nip+Fab face masks, and still own a couple of the Quick Fix Facials masks that I mentioned in my last collection. Recently I picked up a fair few masks from the high street and drugstores, including a couple of The Body Shop Expert Face Masks, the L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox Mask (I’ve previously reviewed bother the Glow Mask and the Purity Mask), and two Soap & Glory Face Masks. I also still own the Boots Essentials 3 Minute Clay Mask and the Una Brennan Superfacialist Rose Hydrate Mask that both featured in my previous collection post.
In the M&S Advent Calendar, I got the Rodial Super Acids X-Treme Acid Rush Peel Mask (which I’m currently obsessed with and this really upsets me because of how expensive the full size is), and in the Feel Unique Advent Calendar, I received the Ole Henriksen Truth Sugar Glow Polishing Mask whcih smells identical to the Ole Henriksen Truth Serum. I’m really into brightening masks at the moment, which I why I picked up the Pixi Glow Mud Mask after mentioning it in my spring skincare wish list, and I also have the Elizabeth Grant Wonder Effect Glycolic Mask. Another glycolic mask I have comes from Caudalie, after buying the Caudalie Mix & Masks Trio which also contains a moisturising mask and a detox mask. The final three masks I own are a miniature sample of the Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask, the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque and the Origins Clear Improvements Mask. Is this too many masks for one girl? Quite possible.
What are the best masks in your collection? Or do you have any masks that you’d like me to pick up and review? Let me know, as I’m always game to try new masks.
