Tropic So Sleepy Pillow Mist Spray Review

Tropic So Sleepy Pillow Mist | Essential Twenty

January is always the hardest month for me. It’s the longest to go between paydays (and I go mad on the sales), the weather is always miserable and I have to go back to work after 2 weeks of stuffing my face. I’ve only been back at work for 3 days and I already need a holiday! The only way I get through the month without having a meltdown is by getting a good nights sleep and in preparation of a post full of tips I’m writing in the coming weeks, I’ve been testing a load of products. I was going to save talking about the Tropic So Sleepy Pillow Mist* until this post, but I just love it too much!

The Tropic So Sleepy Pillow Mist is an alcohol free pillow spray containing 7 essential oils: lavendar, rosemary, chamomile, frankincense, rosewood, eucalyptus and rose geranium. Unlike other pillow sprays I’ve tried in the past, this has a much more natural scent. The essential oils all blend together seamlessly and leave me feeling relaxed as I get into bed each evening (far earlier than I should probably admit).

This spray comes in a 70ml bottle meaning it’s perfect for travelling with, although due to it being in a glass bottle I would definitely consider decanting it first. I’m going away at the end of the month and I’m 100% going to be packing this pillow mist. I haven’t slept without a couple of sprays on my pillow for a few weeks now and I can’t imagine going without it! I feel so well rested each morning after using this and I don’t think I’ll be able to go back to not using it. I’ve even spotted that Tropic sell a full So Sleepy collection and I’ve definitely got my eye on the So Sleepy Bath Soak to treat myself to when I’ve got through my monster bath collection.

And a huge bonus for me, Tropic are completely vegan and cruelty free. One of my big goals are the year is to become more conscious of the world around me, meaning I’m eating less meat and other animal products, and I’m switching to only buying cruelty free. I didn’t realise how many brands I love tested on animals (or at least outsource the testing) so I’m so chuffed to know that Tropic don’t.

If you’re in need of a deeper and more relaxing sleep, then you can pick up the Tropic So Sleepy Pillow Mist here for £20. Just 2-3 pumps on your pillow at night, and you’ll be well away!
