Testing In Beauty, April 2018

Testing In Beauty, April 2018 | Essential Twenty

I’ve been having a great time testing out the new beauty products in my collection that I spoke about in March, and now April is here (PS. Happy Easter – enjoy all the chocolate), I can test out a few new goodies.
There are a couple of products that I treated myself to towards the beginning of the month and have therefore already started to try them. However, I am going to continue to give them a whirl throughout April before making a final decision on them. These are the Makeup Revolution Reloaded Newtrals 2 Palette (a very warm, and very budget friendly palette) and the Too Faced HangoveRx Primer. So far I’ve been really enjoying these, but I’m going to test them a little more before I give you my full review. The other makeup product I’ll be trying out this month is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Moonstone. I have a couple of other pressed highlighters from Becca (Champagne Pop and Opal, in case you’re interested) and am in love with them, so I was excited to be able to pick up a travel size of one of the lighter shades in the collection. I’ll never use up a full size highlighter, so it’s brilliant that Becca offer these minatures.

I also have a couple of skincare items to give a go this month. When I was at the Origins In Bloom event towards the middle of March, I picked up the Origins Ginzing Peel Off Mask and haven’t had a chance to give it a test. This is a mask I’ve had my eye on for quite some time, and being a fan of peel off masks, I’m looking forward to trying it. The other couple of masks I’ll be giving a go are the Masque Bar Foil Sheet Masks*, which a single use sheet masks that can be picked up in Boots.

I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the products I tested through March throughout the month of April, but for the time being – wish me luck with these ones! Which products will you be trying out this month?
