Is it just me who thinks that eye cream is a really boring necessity to a skincare routine? No immediate effects means it’s not that exciting to use, but it’s a means to an end in reducing crows feet! Whilst I always feel like I want to splurge on a pricier eye cream (the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is firmly on my wish list, and has been for some time), sometimes a drugstore alternative is more viable. Last month I picked up the Superdrug Vitamin E Nourishing Eye Cream and I’ve been so impressed so far!
Rich in natural vitamin E, reducing signs of early aging, this is exactly what I want from an eye cream really. Firstly, I love the packaging: a squeezy tube seems way more sanitary than a pot. Whilst I won’t be able to scrape to the bottom, I’d rather not be putting unnecessary bacteria under my eyes. Secondly, the product inside is stunning. It’s smooth and cooling, and actually feels like it’s doing something to my eyes. I look noticeably less tired after using this overnight thanks to it’s depuffing abilities too! I’ve used eye creams in the past that have irritated my undereyes, but this sinks in and doesn’t cause any discomfort. A real winner.
At £2.99 (I know), you really can’t got wrong! Despite loving this, I’m always on the hunt for new skincare additions and would love to know what you recommend. Regardless of wanting more recommendations, I would definitely consider picking up the Superdrug Vitamin E Nourishing Eye Cream again if I’m in a bind. Whilst I’ve tried, and not loved, the hot cloth cleanser from this range, after loving this eye cream so much I’d definitely think about trying some more from the Superdrug Vitamin E Range – maybe the facial mist or body scrub.
