One of my favourite makeup brands of all time is Soap & Glory. Sure, it’s on the pricier end of drugstore makeup but they brand is so worth a look at. Their Solar Powder Bronzer is one of my absolute favourite bronzers, I love their One Heck of a Blot Primer and I frequently reach for the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lip Lipsticks.

I initially spoke about these lipsticks just over a year ago when I bought them, and I also gave them a shout out in my stay all day lipstick post, but I’m finally going to review them. Lucky you!

I have four of the available six shades, and I’m so tempted to pick up the other two just to complete the collection (despite knowing I wouldn’t wear them, apart from maybe Pretty Muted). These shades are Fire CrackerEmber RedChoco Berry and Berry Much, and the names sum the shades up pretty damn well.

Fire Cracker is the only one I haven’t worn, mainly because I got it at the back end of last summer and haven’t had the chance to wear orange lipstick so far this year. This lipstick is a deep orange, and perfect for the summer months. Ember Red is a classic pillar box red. Choco Berry is my most worn shade, and was my go-to lipstick when I went back to my university town for the week last month. This is a deep brown-toned red, and just off nude. The final shade I have is Berry Much, which is a purple-toned berry lipstick.

These lipsticks are long wearing and super comfortable, which isn’t something that can be said for every matte lipstick on the market, and even for every matte lipstick in my collection. I’m a hoarder and can’t get rid of the ones that I don’t find comfortable! The shape of the bullet makes the lipsticks easy to apply, as well as making it easy to follow the contours of your lips.

The Sexy Mother Pucker Matte Lipsticks are a bargain purchase. Despite containing less product than most lipsticks, I don’t mind only paying £3.50 for a lipstick with less quantity as I have never finished one before. These are definitely a winner in my eyes, and I can’t wait to wear these more in the warmer months!
