Tomorrow I’m off to France with two of my best blogging babes – Hayley and Katie – and since we’re all beauty bloggers we’re obviously going to be taking a trip to Sephora. After browsing for hours on the French website a week or two ago, I’ve realised that not a lot of it is any cheaper that getting it here, but a few bits have caught my eye. Much of what I want to try out are the Sephora own-brand products, but there are a couple of other products thrown into the mix too.
I’ve had my eye on the Becca Glow On The Go kit for a little while, and it works out just that tiny bit cheaper in euros than it would buying it here. I love my Becca Champagne Pop so I’d love to try out another Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector, and a travel size is the perfect way to do so.
Another non-Sephora product that I’m considering picking up is a travel sized Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. It’s a concealer I’ve had on my ridiculously long wish list for quite a while, but it’s expensive! If I can pick up the travel size, I won’t feel so guilty if I don’t like it.
The only other branded product will move nicely into the Sephora products as it is skincare related, as are all but one of the own brand products on this list. I’ve heard wonderful things about the Fresh skincare products, so it would be fun to pick one up to review. Personally I love the sound of the Fresh Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy Boosting Mask, which comes in a travel size for a more feasible price (aka one that fits my budget a little better).
Onto the Sephora products, of which there are quite a few. I’ve had my eye on the sheet masks for so long now, and to be honest I’d be happy to take any of them. On this wishlist I’ve added the Sephora Green Tea Face Mask as I’m having a bit of an oily moment and this is perfect for mattifying the skin. I’ve also included the Sephora Avocado Hand Mask, as the second I go back to work, and therefore washing my hands every ten minutes, my hands will get very dry and need all the TLC they can get! The final Sephora mask I’ve added to my wish list is the Sephora Honey Eye Mask, which will be so useful as the weather cools down. Sometimes my undereye area gets a little dry when its gets colder and the wind picks up, so I’m hoping this will nourish them a little!
The other skincare item I’m interested in picking up is the Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. I love trying different eye makeup removers and whilst it’ll hurt so much if this is amazing as it’ll be a pain to get hold of again, I feel like I owe it to myself to try it!
The final Sephora product on my list is the Sephora Cream Lip Stain in Marvelous Mauve. I’m still not over the liquid lipstick phase, but I’m always after something that is more creamy as they are more comfortable to wear. Hopefully I can pick one (of ten) or these lipsticks up when I’m in France!
Chances are when I actually get into the store I’ll forget my wish list completely and leave with none of this, but a girl can try to plan! And of course I’ll haul what I actually purchase next week.
