I’m never really wowed by cleansers. If they take off makeup and leave my skin feeling fresh then that’s great, but that’s as excited as I get. That was until I tried the Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser. It changed my perception of cleansers and I’m so excited to be able to share my full review today after giving it a cheeky little mention in my spring favourites last week.
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of the Pixi Glow Tonic, and have been eager to branch out and try some more of their products for a little while. For Christmas, my parents gifted me a ton of Pixi products and at long last I’ve been getting around to trying them. The first I had to try was the Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser, as I was pretty bored of my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish (it’s not a bad cleanser, it’s just not for me), and it has rocked my world.
Containing 5% glycolic acid, just like the sister toner, this sloughs(sp?) away dead skin cells as part of my second cleanse to reveal brighter, more radiant skin. And not only that, but it leaves my face feeling smooth which is something I really value. I have a lot of texture on my face and no matter what I use, I just can’t get rid. At least that’s what I thought until I tried this product.
My skin is so much smoother since using it, and I’m obsessed with my skin looking more radiant at the moment. I’m all about that glow, and cleanser is seriously assisting with this look. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to test this out! I don’t use this cleanser to remover my makeup, in fact I’ve never even tried to remove makeup with it, and tend to reach for a balm or a micellar water. But as a second cleanse this is a beautiful product.
I already have a back up (it’s that good) and although I have a lot of other cleansers to try, this is my new baby and I actually look forward to cleansing my face each evening. Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser, you are amazing!
