Like most beauty bloggers out there, I love Lush. It’s one of my favourite shops to go in and I can’t help but have the occasional splurge. On Monday, I popped in because I had just run out of my Tea Tree Water Toner, and toning is a step I never miss out in my skin care routine. But as I was in there, I was speaking to the always lovely Adam (I never remember his name, it’s just on the receipt) at the Peterborough store. He always manages to convince me to buy more than I need. And £16 later, I left with three bath bombs, as well as the toner water. Hey, at least I managed to get what I went in for!
I wanted to write a post on achieving goals, but didn’t have any inspiration for it. That was until I popped into Next a couple of weekends ago and saw this glass plaque. At first, it reminded me of Louise, but as I continued to follow my mum around the store, I got the inspiration for this post. Unfortunately, I can’t find a link to the plaque online but if you have a Next with a reasonably-sized homeware section, you might be able to pick it up.
Sparkle can be thought of as belief, and therefore help. I think to be able to achieve goals, you need to have to believe in yourself, but also have assistance. Whether that is friends and family, or help from blogs and websites. I rely on my boyfriend a lot to help me achieve what I want to achieve; he’s my absolute rock.
I thought I’d post something a little different today, and that is a list of my favourite youtubers. Compiling this list was somewhat of a struggle as there are so many people that I enjoy watching. I wholeheartedly recommend every single person on this list, and if I have missed somebody out, I apologise.

Although I’ve been scheduling so many posts recently so my blog stays updated whilst I’m in America, it occurred to me that I didn’t have a post written for today. So in a weird make do blog post, I’m going to show you how I store my every day Skincare, Hair Care, and Body Care products. This is likely to change in September because I’m finally buying the 5 drawer IKEA Alex (eventually I want to get a second and the IKEA Linnmon Table Top to make a dressing table, but I’m a poor student and can’t afford that right now), but this is just how I keep it right now. I’m not 100% happy with it but it works for me for now, and it’s been fine whilst I’ve been home this summer.
This is the IKEA Billy Bookcase which I bought for my second year of university. My room was particularly small, and was lacking storage so I bought this as a cheap alternative to drawers. There is a shelf not pictured below here which currently houses my university textbooks and folders and stuff, and it’s the perfect length for them all.
I’m a sucker for a bargain, especially when it comes to makeup. Of course I love my high end products, but my drugstore buys remain to be my favourite to shop for, as you can really get a lot for your money.
The products I’d like to talk about today are things I use on at least a weekly basis, if not daily. There are a selection of face, eye, and lip products in my favourites which shows that you can really get a full makeup look using budget buys, that can look just as good as a high end look.
Today I’d like to discuss my favourite nude lip colours – pretty much the only lip colour I wear. I just find them so wearable as they go with everything, so I have many that I love. Plus, I usually forget to stick a mirror in my bag and they don’t require as much precision in terms of application as a brighter shade.
