Happy New Year! It’s 2018 and I’m kicking blogging off with a bang. Every year I say that I’m going to get my bum in gear and get organised, and every year it lasts just a couple of weeks. Well in 2018 I’m turning 24, my lucky number, which means it’s the year I officially adult. I’m getting everything in order, and during the back end of 2017 I picked up a few bits to help me with the mammoth task of getting my life organised.
It’s the last day of 2017 (bloody hell, that’s flown) so it’s time to set goals and resolutions. I find this a bit of a challenge every year, so I’m keeping with some easy goals that I can definitely achieve. Nothing in terms of numbers since every social media site is awful right now, but things that I want to achieve over the coming year. Some of these do follow the tasks I set myself earlier in the year as well as those I failed at from this time last year, but this time I’m far more focused. I can do this!
Over the past couple of Christmases, one of my favourite things to do has been to read peoples What I Got For Christmas posts. I’ve uploaded these posts in the past (read my 2015 post here and my 2016 post here) and I’m doing the same this year. As always, this isn’t bragging, this is just me sharing what I got for Christmas this year. If you don’t like it then don’t bother reading it!
Around September time, I said to myself I wanted to a watch a Christmas film every day in December. A very easy challenge for myself. When Christmas 24 launched, I couldn’t actually wait until December so I have watched more than this, but since a sick day at the back end of November meant I started my Christmas movie watch a few days early. But this was okay since I had a few days out meaning I was too busy to watch.
Christmas is in two days, this is not a drill. Seriously guys, THE BIG DAY IS ALMOST HERE!
There’s something about Christmas that means I want to be joyful and share the love. This year there have been some cracking festive posts (not all from people taking part in blogmas), and I want to share these with you. And if you don’t get around to reading all these posts today, it’s a really chill way to spend Christmas Eve, right? Without further ado, here is a list I’ve compiled of my favourite blogmas posts of 2017.
This year I’ve gone a bit mad on three things: Christmas jigsaw puzzles, Christmas presents and Christmas clothing, specifically pyjamas and socks. I have a bit of a thing where I treat myself to a new jumper each year, or at least that’s what I tell myself. This year’s single new jumper has become more than just a jumper and a t-shirt, as well as plenty of sock sets, and three pairs of pyjamas. Christmas Day is so close now, and you might not have picked up the exact clothing you want to wear. Maybe this post will help. Then again, maybe it won’t as we’re crazily close to the big day and I know I can’t bring myself to go shopping!
