This is the final post about my graduation, and then we can get back to my regular posting. It’s just really exciting to me that I survived university and actually graduated, okay.
Today I want to share with you the makeup I chose for my graduation, because apart from my wedding day (if that every happens), I reckon this was one of the most important makeup days for me. I had to look flawless in my official photography now, didn’t I?
I’ve been living for Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Primer recently, and I paired that with my favourite foundation, the L’Oreal Infallible 24H Foundation. For concealer I opted for the Seventeen Skin Wow Concealer* to cover the worst eye bags I’ve had in months (it was boiling hot and I had to be up at 6am so very little sleep happened that night) and the Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer was perfect to cover the pesky blemishes which have creeped onto my chin recently. I also intensely powdered with Rimmel Stay Matte which I carried with me all day in my graduation bag.
For my eyebrows, I opted for the easy option of Essence Gimme Brow, simply because I couldn’t be dealing with the hassle of filling them in properly. To be honest, my brows are pretty good and don’t need a lot of work in the morning so this was a good option for me. On my eyes I used the Urban Decay Primer Potion* (which I’m nearly out of) and the Makeup Revolution Redemption Essential Mattes 2 Palette as it is full of very neutral colours for a classic eye. For liquid liner I went with my favourite eyeliner at the moment which is the L’Oreal Super Liner in Perfect Slim and I used the Bourjois Kohl & Contour in my tightline. I then finished on my eye look with Benefit Roller Lash which I have been loving a lot recently.
Not that these few products are photographed (because yolo) but my faced was bronzed using Nars Laguna, with my cheek flush being thanks to MAC Dolly Mix. But the star of the show was definitely the Sleek Solstice palette to highlight my cheekbones. I was glowing hard on stage.
I then used Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Strip and set my makeup with the Makeup Revolution Oil Control Fixing Spray after forgetting my Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. Although it’s a pretty good drugstore option if you don’t have the budget for Urban Decay!
