Over the bank holiday weekend, I packed up and popped over the English channel for a fun weekend with a couple of my fave blogging ladies. Whilst the majority of my money was spent enjoying a few glasses of alcohol, responsibly of course, as beauty bloggers, we couldn’t let a trip to the continent pass us by without a trip to Sephora!
Honestly, I was a little disappointed and wasn’t able to pick up much of what was on my wish list. However, I obviously have to share the few bits I bought with you, otherwise I’d feel like a bad beauty blogger! I’m yet to test out any of these products, but you can bet your bottom dollar that full reviews will appear over the coming weeks and months.
One item that was on my list is the Sephora Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover. I love testing out new skincare, with micellar waters and eye makeup removers being my favourites to try, so I couldn’t let this one slip away from me. This is just a miniature remover that cost €3,50 – probably a little more than I’d normally spend but I was on holiday
I added a Sephora Cream Lip Stain to my aforementioned wish list, but they didn’t stock the shade I was after. However, after having this liquid lipstick on my radar for around 3 years now I had to treat myself to one of them. I went for the shade 04 Endless Purple. This is a deep purple, and perfect for autumn and winter! I’m yet to wear this, but this has a mid-range price point at €10,95.
The final two products were those that will appear shortly on a Friday as one of my Face Mask Friday features. The Sephora Sheet Masks are well loved in the beauty community and cost €3,95 each. Although in my wish list I mentioned other masks, at the time my skin needed a different type of TLC. In the end I picked up the Avocado Face Mask for nourishing and repairing, and the Pomegranate Face Mask for anti-fatigue and energising. A definite must now I’m back at work!
I can’t wait to try these products out in the upcoming weeks and to let you know what I think! Sure, I didn’t pick up as much as I expected to (it was a pretty poorly stocked Sephora) but I did manage to grab a couple of bits which I’m chuffed about.
