Makeup Repurchased

A couple of weeks ago I posted my repurchased skincare, so today I thought I’d conclude this mini duo of posts with the makeup products that I have repurchased. I buy a lot of makeup so I have to really love a product to repurchase it, rather than picking up something new.

overview

Some of these products I’ve repurchased more than once and more than half of these products have been introduced to me in the last year.

When I find a base product I like, particularly concealer, I stick to it. The L’Oreal Infallible Matte Foundation has been my favourite since I first used it just a few months ago, and I’ve already got through my first tube and I’m onto my second. I love a matte finish and this foundation is super lightweight which I also adore. If you haven’t tried this foundation yet, what are you doing?

Another base product I am obsessed with and have just moved onto my second tube of is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. Unfortunately you can’t buy the shade I use (fair) in the UK so my aunt sent over a couple of tubes recently for me after I fell in love with it in America last summer. This concealer covers both blemishes and dark circles, and it’s the easiest concealer to blend out there in my opinion. Just please bring this shade to the UK, Maybelline! For me at least.

I’ve been using powders on my face for years. I didn’t even try liquid foundation until just over a year ago (shocker, I know) and just used powders with a slight colour. I’ve used a far few of the drugstore offerings, but I love the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder the most. I used to use this in the shade Pink Blossom and went through probably around three of these, but now I have fully hit pan on the shade Transparent and have a new one ready to go. I dust this over all over my face just to set my makeup, not that I really need the mattifying power as I use the L’Oreal foundation most days anyway. I’m just dying for them to bring out a loose version of this powder to set my undereyes with!

My all time favourite drugstore mascara is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, which I’ve got through one of and repurchased in the waterproof form. If you’re a big fan of Benefit Roller Lash then you need to try this as it’s very similar, but less than half the price! This is definitely one of my go to mascaras on an every day basis.

When I was in year 7, I started wearing makeup to school. This makeup was stick concealer from Natural Collection, a grey single shadow from Miss Sporty, Natural Collection Waterproof Mascara, Natural Collection Powder and the Bourjois Kohl & Contour Eyeliner in Ultra Black. 10 years later I’m still using it! Bourjois was a splurge for me back then, but it was a product I was more than willing to spend that little extra on. This lasts all day in the waterline and I must’ve been through about 15 of these over the years. Never stop selling these Bourjois or I will actually cry.

My last two products are Urban Decay products and I feel I’m cheating a little with the first one. The Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion hasn’t actually been repurchased by me yet, but it will be. I’m almost out of my first tube and I was about to order a second when I had a delivery from Urban Decay arrive with a mini Primer Potion sample in so I don’t need to repurchase just yet. And the final product is the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray which is, hands down, the best setting spray on the market. As soon as I finish writing this post I’m going to make an order on Feel Unique for another bottle because it is just heaven! The photo here only shows the travel size but after getting through two of these, I know I need the full size.

What are your repurchased products? I know if something is well loved enough for it to be repurchased it’s go to be worth a try!
