December Favourites 2015

Should auld acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind?  Should auld acquaintance be forgot? And auld lang syne!

It’s officially 2016 and I’m determined to make this my year for blogging. I had such a fab time of it for the last six months, so why not keep going? But bigger and better this year!

December Favourites

Like I’ve said in previous posts, I stupidly didn’t bring home all I wanted to bring to photograph so instead of a full list of favourites, I’ve just picked a few that I have about. Maybe if I’m still loving them in 4 weeks time I can share them in my January favourites at the start of February.

The Girl On The Train

My first favourite is The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins. My boyfriend bought this for me for Christmas and I could not put it down. I’ve not read a book and been like that in years so this is highly recommended. If you’ve not read it yet, definitely add it to your list!

Perfume, Candly & Brush

CK One Shock was the perfume that my boyfriend bought me for my birthday in 2014. I wore it religiously for ages then stopped but I’ve got back into wearing it again recently and I love it. I already have one waiting on standby for when this runs out.

The Zoeva Luxe Sheer Cheek Brush is something which I have spoken about before but I can’t contour without it now. I tried my old Real Techniques’ contour brush and I don’t know how I ever used it before. I’ve been really trying with my contour recently and this has done a world of good. I’ve said this before as well, but I desperately need to get my hands on more Zoeva brushes.

Christmas means candles. Actually Autumn as a whole means candles, but I’ve been loving my Christmassy ones recently. My mum bought me the one in the photograph for Christmas and I can’t wait to light it. It smells divine!

Speed Plump

If you follow me on twitter, you may be away that I won a £100 goody bag from Soap & Glory, and the Speed Plump All-Day Super Moisture Marvel came as part of that. This is one of the fastest absorbing moisturisers I’ve used in a really long time, and I love the smell (it reminds me of the toothbrush fun gums sweets). This really absorbs into the face beautifully and leaves the skin looking super hydrated.

Christmas Candy Box

Last but not least are Lush Products. I got the Christmas Candy Box as a gift this Christmas from friends but it was the easiest to photograph. I have a massive tub full of bath bombs and melts and bubble bars but it’s way too much to photograph. I have loved being home for Christmas because I’ve had a bath to soak in and really make the most of all of my Lush products. Wherever I end up living next year must have a bath.

I hope you all have a smashing 2016!
