My skincare routine is shot. Honestly, I have no desire to do anything other than remove my makeup most nights and slap on a face mask once a fortnight (which is a real shame as I have so many masks to use up, especially sheet masks). I could lie and say that it’s because I’m out of routine with Christmas throwing everything off, but if I’m going to tell the truth, it’s because I simply can’t be bothered. But not being bothered has not left me with happy skin. It’s dry yet spotty, and it’s dehydrated. To help with a few of my skin issues, I raided my skincare stash and found the Bioderma Hydrabio Crème* and it’s left me with much happier skin.
It’s been around 3 months since the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette* presale, and 2 months since I got my hands on it. Plenty of people have shared their thoughts and I thought it was about time I did the same. Whilst this isn’t going to be really in depth, I just want to talk about it quickly as I know people will be putting together their Christmas lists soon. I’ve also got a giveaway over on twitter so you can even win your very own Urban Decay Naked Heat palette!
A while ago I picked up a pack of two Nip + Fab masks. I haven’t tried anything from them in the past, and thought this was a great way to introduce myself to the brand. We know I love a face mask so I was eager to try them out! Today I’m talking about my impressions of the Nip + Fab Glycolic Instant Fix Mask, which definitely wasn’t what I expected to be.
Recently I’ve found PR packages few and far between. Whilst this may seem sad to some, this has been great for me. I’m trying to declutter my life and alongside this, I’ve been able to really try out new products for a reasonable period of time. At the back end of August REN Perfect Canvas* was launched, their first almost-makeup product amongst their fantastic skincare line.
A product I’ve been meaning to try for years is the Lush Mask of Magnaminty. I’ve heard amazing things about it over the years, but I don’t love spending money on Lush face masks as they need to be kept in the fridge and have a short use by date. I spotted a self-preserving formula of the Mask of Magnaminty around a month ago and I’ve been using it a couple of times a week ever since!
I’ve always been intrigued by Yes To products, but none of them have ever stood out enough to me to try them. A few months back I spotted a variety of their masks on 3 for 2 and couldn’t resist. The Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin 2-Step Nose Kit, the Yes To Grapefruit Correct & Repair 2-Step Face Kit and the Yes To Cucumbers Soothing 2-Step Eye Kit were mine to try!
