Boxing Day 2017 Beauty Haul

Last year I put together a monster post all about what I’d picked up in the Boxing Day sales, and I’m doing it again this year! I don’t think I spent quite so much, but I did pick up some bits I want to share with you. In my 2018 goals, I mentioned that I am going cruelty free with my beauty products and not all of these are, but this is the last time I will be sharing non-CF purchases on my blog in a haul fashion. Sorry it’s taken so long (again), but I had to wait for Mr Postman to bring most of this to me!

Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Mascara

I signed up for Influenster quite some time ago, and then promptly forgot about said sign-up. Urban Decay Naked Heat, 2 Months On & A Giveaway

It’s been around 3 months since the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette* presale, and 2 months since I got my hands on it. Whilst this isn’t going to be really in depth, I just want to talk about it quickly as I know people will be putting together their Christmas lists soon. I’ve also got a giveaway over on twitter so you can even win your very own Urban Decay Naked Heat palette!

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

For the past 5 years or so I’ve been pretty loyal to the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. It takes the shine off, it lasts all day and it’s a bargain! However, I’ve started to notice that my undereyes have been creasing so I need something a little stronger. For about 10 times the price of my trusty Rimmel powder, I picked up the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. It gets rave reviews on YouTube but is it worth the hefty price point?

Creating Your Perfect Canvas

Recently I’ve found PR packages few and far between. Whilst this may seem sad to some, this has been great for me. I’m trying to declutter my life and alongside this, I’ve been able to really try out new products for a reasonable period of time. At the back end of August REN Perfect Canvas* was launched, their first almost-makeup product amongst their fantastic skincare line.
