Face Masks In My Bathroom

Face Masks In My Bathroom | Essential Twenty

I’m a big lover of face masks – in fact, I put together a whole series about my face mask stash. There are currently 4 that don’t leave my bathroom because I use them so much! Today I’m sharing those masks, linking you to my full reviews on them (in case you’re interested) and letting you know why I love them so darn much!

I’ve been obsessed with the Lush Mask of Magnaminty ever since I picked it up in the summer. It was a mask that I’d had my eye on for quite some time and when I picked it up in the summer it was love at first use. You know how good it feels when you brush your teeth because it’s minty fresh? Well this mask is that, but for you skin. It seems to keep breakouts at bay and it’s  just an all round good egg of a mask.

A budget mask I love is the Boots Essentials 3 Minute Clay Mask, which comes in at only £1.50 for a tube that lasts freakin’ ages! I’m not really a huge clay mask user because despite not having overly sensitive skin, clay and charcoal masks can often cause a little bit of a reaction. And by ‘little’ I mean ‘spray my face with Lush Tea Tree Toner and shove antihistamines down my throat followed by a cold flannel on my face for 30 minutes’. Yeah, it’s not good. This mask is great for when I want something that feels like it’s going to deep cleanse, but it works in a matter of minutes. A real godsend on busy days where my skin still needs some TLC.

Another mask that doesn’t make it out of the bathroom is The Body Shop Amazonian Acai Energising Radiance Mask, which was another love at first use mask. it takes a little while to get over the stickiness but once you’re past it, it’s a damn near perfect mask. It feels cleansing, exfoliating and nourishing all in one go and quite frankly, I’m obsessed.

The final mask that I love and use on a regular basis is the Kiehls Ultra Facial Overnight Hydrating Masque*. I don’t have the energy to use this that much at the moment, but it’s a cracking overnight mask if you want something a little different to the well-loved Origins overnight mask. This is another fairly sticky mask, but after 10 minutes the excess can be patted off and by morning you look like you’ve been blessed by the hydration gods. I’m serious!

Of course I switch it up a lot, but these are the face masks that I frequently go back to and will definitely repurchase. Which face masks do you never stray too far from (I need to know because I need to build my already overloaded collection)?
