A few weeks ago, I won Charli‘s Blog Birthday Giveaway and I thought it would be quite nice to reveal what goodies I won. Normally I wouldn’t do a post like this (not to brag but I do win my fair share of giveaways, simply because I enter quite a few) but since Charli’s post didn’t properly reveal what was in the box I decided it’d be fun to share what I received.
There’s a huge array of little goodies in this box and I can’t wait to try them out! But in true blogger fashion, I took photos of everything first. In the box is a range of beauty stuff – nails, face and makeup!
I was really excited to open this when I got out of hospital a couple of weeks ago as it contains some of my favourite brands. 7th Heaven masks remind me of my childhood sleepovers where I would beg my mum for face masks to have a girly pamper. I’ve got back into using them recently if my skins needs a bit of one-off TLC, so these are perfect to keep in my drawers. I also love Benefit, but am yet to try their skin care so I’m excited to try this moisturiser when I’m on the go (I tend to save most sample sizes for travelling). The final skincare item was the Monu Skin Perfector. I’ve never even heard of MONU, let alone used any of their products but as after a quick scan of Feel Unique, it seems to have great reviews and sounds perfect for me since it reduces the appearance of fine lines. Yes, I am 21 and already starting to develop Crow’s Feet and a few other wrinkles (cry with me).
There are three nail based pieces in this box of fun – a mini Ciaté nail polish in Pom Pom, some W7 Cosmic Nail Dust and an upkeep set (in the cute Japanese doll). I am really bad with my nails and when I get stressed, I bite them but I’m hoping that after all my exam worries I will be able to maintain them properly.
The last items was a lipstick from the brand Bell. Another company that I haven’t heard of, but I did a little bit of reading. Bell are a Polish brand with very affordable pricing, and all of their products are hypoallergenic (supposedly, the ingredient lists sometimes say otherwise). This is in the shade 03 and I’m hoping that this is the pink for me. I never wear pinks because I can’t find one that suits, but this is pretty subtle and I think will work as a lovely nude.
So thank you Charli; I’m really looking forward to giving these products a go! You never know, they may crop up in a favourite-esque post.
